Exploring JSON as a tree
Benefits of the tree view
In large API responses, expanding and collapsing nodes lets you locate a field without scrolling through thousands of lines. Each node shows its type: object, list, string, number, boolean or null.
Access paths
Knowing the exact path of a value, such as data.items[0].price, makes it easier to write code that reads it. Navigating the tree helps you work out that path quickly.
Spotting problems
Fields that are sometimes text and sometimes numbers, unexpected empty lists or null values are easy to spot visually and often cause production bugs.

Frequently asked questions
Can I copy a path?+
Yes. Clicking any node copies its path (e.g. items[3].name) to the clipboard.
