Format
The code contains a string like WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;; that Android and iOS phones recognize to connect without typing the password.
Special characters
If the name or password contain ; , : \ or ", they must be escaped with a backslash. The tool does this automatically.
Security
Anyone who scans the QR gets the password. For guests, consider a separate guest network; at home, print it and place it where only the intended people will see it.
